This piece was inspired by the film “Mulan”, produced in 2020 by Walt Disney Pictures.

This painting shows us, a fearless young woman who risks her life for the love of her family and country, to become one of the greatest warriors in all of China. Mulan is a true example of courage, loyalty, truth and love for the family. These are some of the principles that I value and that is why I was motivated to do this work. I decided to represent her, raising her sword, showing determination and courage, while the phoenix appears as a sign of hope and protection.
